As an ILM accredited centre, we are able to provide ILM management certificates and diplomas, including introductory diplomas, in management skills.
Many of the certificates and diplomas have 'optional' units, or a list of units from which you must choose a number of units, which will be indicated in the qualification's information. We can help you to ensure that you have chosen the right units, and can help to develop and implement a programme of development for you, or your managers, as a part of achieving the appropriate certificate or diploma.
These new qualifications at Levels 2 - 7 will be available from September 01, 2007. Further details of new qualifications at Levels 6 and 7 will follow very soon.
Please note that as these new qualifications replace the existing suite of ILM Generic Management VRQs and registrations on the current VRQs will cease on 31 August 2007. Learners will still have the full registration period in which to complete.

1. In response to customer feedback which indicated that the gap between an Introductory Certificate and the full Certificate was too great, ILM has produced a shorter Certificate programme. Only 30 per cent of the content is now prescribed through the mandatory units (formerly 60 per cent), leaving a much greater degree of flexibility for centres.
2. The Diploma has been introduced to cater for the needs of those first line managers who wish to complete a fully comprehensive programme of knowledge and skills at the same level.
3. This has been developed in response to an identified need for a qualification for those learners who wish to progress from a L3 First Line Management qualification, but who may find the gap to a Level 5 (equating to second year degree level) too ambitious. This qualification forms a valuable bridge from Level 3 to Level 5, with the additional benefit of allowing 8 credits to be carried forward to a Level 5 Certificate or Diploma. It will thus be particularly attractive to organisations seeking an incremental ladder of development throughout a career in management for its personnel.
4. In response to customer feedback which indicated that the gap between a Level 5 Introductory Diploma and the full Diploma was too great, ILM has produced a shorter Certificate programme at this level.
More details will follow shortly however, the suite will comprise the following qualifications:
