We deliver a range of training courses lasting from ½-day to 5 days, dependent on the skills being delivered and the outcomes required. Our areas of delivery include (this is not a finite list):
This course is aimed at those with no prior experience as a ‘Trainer’ and will also benefit those recently involved in delivering training and those who have never had any formal Trainer Skills training. This course can also be adapted to be a 'refresher' course if preferred.
This is a 2-day course.
This course will be delivered in a group environment which is highly interactive. It will include individual work, group work, working in pairs, discussions, and role play as well as direct input from the trainer.
All delegates will be encouraged throughout to participate by working within syndicates that are changed regularly, within the main group. Delegates will be introduced to various models and current thinking and best practice in training design and delivery.
Course delegates will also be shown how to make the learning experience ‘inclusive’ for their delegates not just by encompassing the various learning styles, but also providing ‘learning experience equality’, for those delegates with differing learning abilities, such as a visual impairment, etc.
Delegates will be asked to undertake pre-course work including the completion of a Learning Styles Questionnaire.
This course can have the benefit of a Post Course Support environment for 6 months after the training sessions at our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) at www.123skilled.com; Our VLE will provide copies of all learning materials and tools plus a File Repository, Jargon Buster Glossary, Discussion Forum to share common knowledge and Private Messaging Systems for one-to-one contact with trainers or course delegates.
Skype Video Conferencing is also available as a post course support option.
As The Gill Payne Partnership Ltd is interested in what the delegates do with their newly learned skills, all delegates will be encouraged to email or telephone course trainers beyond the training days should they have further questions or queries.
For the delegate to be able to design and deliver effective training that meets the identified needs of the organisation and/or the individual whilst catering for the individual and group learning styles. The course will also provide the delegate with the understanding of different methods for delivery and the various media for delivering training including the various pros and cons for each.
By the end of the session, you will be able to
